About Me

I'll always remember my 32nd birthday as the day I left corporate America behind. After a successful 13-year career in healthcare as a practice administrator, I quit my job to be a stay-at-home mom. I did it!

I'm the lucky wife to my amazing husband who does anything to make me happy. As a clinical psychologist, he spends his days listening to others. Then he gets to come home and listen to me :) We have one son, RJ (born July 2010). He melts my heart with his affectionate kisses.

I start lots of projects, but finish very few, making Pinterest my newest frenemie.

I love trying to new things.

Other things I love:
  • Making lists :)
  • Jesus
  • The Indianapolis Colts (and Peyton Manning, even though he's a Bronco now!)
  • Cruising to just about anywhere a ship can go
  • Organizing
  • Geocaching
  • Dirty martinis, extra dirty
  • The color pink
  • Sending cards via snail mail
  • NYC and Las Vegas

On Christmas morning 2011, RJ (then 17 months old) surprised us all when he declared in his first complete sentence, "I did it!" after successfully launching a canon ball out of his new pirate ship. Since then, we've had quite a few more "I did it" moments. I can't keep such joy to myself, so this blog is my attempt to document these life changing "I did it!" moments.
